WWE Backlash 2025 - Fatal 4-Way Championship Match Added Featuring Jacob Fatu, LA Knight, Damian Priest & Drew McIntyre
WWE Backlash 2025, set for May 10 in St. Louis, Missouri, just got even more exciting with the addition of a high-stakes Fatal 4-Way match for the United States Championship.
Fatal 4-Way Match Confirmed for WWE Backlash
During the May 3 episode of WWE SmackDown, a major development unfolded:
- The show opened with a match between Damian Priest and LA Knight, which ended in disqualification after Solo Sikoa interfered.
- Shortly after, United States Champion Jacob Fatu stormed in and laid out both Priest and Knight.
- This mirrored last week’s events, where Knight's match against Drew McIntyre ended in a DQ due to interference by Priest.
Backstage Segment Sets the Stage
Later in a backstage segment, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis made it official:
- Jacob Fatu will defend the U.S. Title at WWE Backlash in a Triple Threat Match against LA Knight and Damian Priest.
- However, after Solo Sikoa reminded Aldis that McIntyre technically won his match last week via DQ, Aldis upgraded the bout to a Fatal 4-Way Match.
WWE Backlash 2025 Match Card (So Far)
- WWE Championship: John Cena vs. Randy Orton
- Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Lyra Valkyria vs. Becky Lynch
- Grudge Match: Pat McAfee vs. GUNTHER
