Knicks Rally Again to Stun Celtics in Game 1 Overtime Thriller

The New York Knicks have made comeback victories their postseason trademark—and they did it again in dramatic fashion.

For the fourth time in the 2025 NBA Playoffs, the Knicks overcame a fourth-quarter deficit, this time rallying to defeat the Boston Celtics 108-105 in overtime in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference Semifinal series at TD Garden.

The Celtics struggled with poor shooting all night, but their offensive woes worsened in the second half as they missed shot after shot. The Knicks capitalized, crashing the boards and pushing the pace to generate fast-break opportunities and open looks.

With this gritty road win, New York takes an early 1-0 lead in the series and continues its reputation as one of the most resilient teams of the postseason.
